Jaisalmer is an ancient land marked with the oldest of Rajasthani Traditions. Considered as the ‘The Golden City’, it boasts of having the only Living fort in the entire world, gorgeous architecture, epic museums, a delectable cuisine but most importantly, the never ending Thar Desert. Further west through Jaisalmer, Longewala border still stands strong where a battalion of a handful of Indian soldiers were able to hold off thousands of Pakistani soldiers and their tanks.
